GP BRAZING FLUX 500G TIN

General Purpose Brazing Flux  

500 gram tin  

This flux is used for flame brazing with either an oxy-acetylene or electric carbon arc torch. It can be used on practically all types of brass, bronze, steel, malleable iron, cast iron, and galvanized metals.  

This brazing flux cleanses the metal, readily dissolving any oxides that may be present or may be formed during the brazing process.  

These oxides form a low melting point, fusible slag, permitting the filler metal to flow freely, and to form a non-porous, oxide free weld.
