Helicoil Finishing Tap

M08 x 1.25

The required thread diameter is achieved by the finishing tap, no grooves. 

The material is therefore removed in stages so that there is less stress generated than with ISO 529 taps. 

It has 3 to 5 taper lead threads, which will provide a tapped hole with a full diameter thread. 

Generally used for through holes, this is the most commonly used tap, and can in many cases be used independently without the need for the roughing or bottoming tap.
